Finding the right fabric manufacturer for a given product can be a challenging task, especially if one is working to a tight deadline. Stock fabrics can be an option for small orders. For bulk fabric, colour and consistency in finishing can be a challenge where low Delta-E ratings are required. Through our extensive contacts with major fabric manufactures in China and South Asia we are able to advise on optimal solutions.
In addition to two of our own factories in Dhaka, we have a large database of compliant factories mostly based in Bangladesh. We have commercial relationships with factories producing for well-known international brands such as Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein. These factories vary in size and specialisation enabling them to cater for a vast range of products including menswear, ladieswear, childrenswear, technical garments and home textiles. Some of these factories are vertically integrated, thereby offering the potential for faster execution of projects. In all events, we would strongly recommend making use of specialist factories.
In the apparel industry it is widely acknowledged that quality is harder to control from afar, particularly if one is reliant on the factory for quality control.
